Tourism package - holding page

Gwyliau Bro is a new venture by the social enterprise Partneriaeth Ogwen. The aim of Gwyliau Bro is to provide tourists with sustainable, community led experiences when visiting Dyffryn Ogwen. We will be doing this by working with partners locally to create ‘Gwyliau Bro’ visitor experiences & packages.

Gwyliau Bro intends to offer three holiday packages initially. The Cynefin a Chymuned package will be a cultural weekend of activities held during a the Cynefin a Chymuned festival. Another package will be developed around the Llwybr y Llechi Slate Trail and another package will focus on the outdoor sector. Information about the holiday packages will be available here and there will also be videos and photos with the partners and companies involved in the packages.

Our aim is to encourage community tourism and offer genuine local experiences to tourists. We want to attract tourists who want to appreciate the distinctiveness of Dyffryn Ogwen and what makes this place special. These include the diverse and historic landscape, a special community, the Welsh language, the arts, pacifism, activities, world-renowned geology and wildlife treasures. We hope that Gwyliau Bro will bring all these elements together in an appealing and user friendly way.
